DIY!

As part of our Valentine's day* activities I took the wifey to CafeMonet, a paint-your-own-pottery studio.

Of course, being the fly guy that I am, I picked an aircraft...

...JoJo picked a vase.

We spent 3hrs painting our resepective pieces but the firing process takes about a week.  Due date is Thursday so expect a post with the finish product then...but don't hold your breathe!

Damn! My reality just set in.

JoJo moved to Waco yesterday. I thought I would be alright, living apart and everything but last night was harder than I expected. In the days leading up to yesterday, I would constantly tell myself that I'd be fine, blah blah blah in order to not focus on the fact that I was going to be alone. It finally hit me last night when I got back from Waco and it was just me and the dog. I know she's only an hour away and that I'll probably see her every weekend, but the fact that I know she won't be there when I get home sucks!

Decisions, decisions

So I'm at a crossroads right now. JoJo just got a job in Waco as a coach which means she will be moving back to Waco. I on the other hand have a good job here in Austin and I'm about a year away from finishing school. Logically I'm thinking if I leave my job I'd be taking a major risk especially in this current economic climate. If I stay then we'd end up paying two sets of bills and will have to live apart for a year or two. The distance isn't a problem, we'll make it through that. The biggest thing that I'm currently struggling with are the economics of our decision. Every time I come to what I think is the best solution to the problem, the other side of the argument comes back with new perspective.  As of right now,  I think I'll just stay in Austin and reevaluate the situation in December.  

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?!?!

It's been 10 days since my last post and I tell you that I HONESTLY have not had any time to post.  Even now I'm multi-tasking blogging & homework.  The last few weeks have been crazy busy for me.  I'm juggling work, summer courses, adjusting to a new pup [yes this requires adjustment], and moving!! I'm physically exhausted and mentally dead!

...the club was waaacck!!! [Another reason I dislike being back in Waco!] There were about..hmm...45 people, literally! The only bright spot was this one drunk dude who was dancing on the floor...like on the ground! hahaha He might've gotten the floor pregnant last night!

On the flip side I did get to spend some time with my moms and bro! Introduced my mom to some new dishes and let her taste some of my wizardry in the kitchen [brushes off shoulders]!

JoJo went to Dallas with one of her friends to get ready for her wedding. She picked up some fresh luggage and a vest to match my Nike's... "since I'm her baby she be stuntin like my daddy"

...Monday!

This week has been a bad one so far. Monday was long. Tuesday I attended the funeral of my step-grandfather-in-law. Today my head felt like somebody hit it with a sledge hammer!! The weekend seems so far away..

The wifey has to go do wedding stuff so were headed this Waco this weekend. I'm gonna spend some quality time with my mom, older bro and nephew [hopefully!!]

Got my computer working after nearly 6 months of trial and error. I was on the verge on buying another one but I'm saving up for a macbook! I'm thinking it'll be a Christmas present to myself.
