Taqueria #9

I've discovered that the best Mexican food comes from places that focus more on the food than presentation. 

Taqueria #9 is no exception to that rule! Mismatch plates, misspelled words on the menu and awkward waitress couldn't diminish the fact the the food was good!

Hot Date!

Had a hot date last night with the misses.  We hit up this restaurant that Sandra Bullock owns called Bess, off of West 6th.  I was really expecting it to be more upscale than it was but the atmosphere was still pretty cool.  The food was great but the service was terrible.  Afterward, we hit up The Cheesecake Factory for some dessert...that never gets old!

The work week starts up again tomorrow so the wifey and I have just been taking it easy all day.  I rented both Kill Bill's last night because she hadn't seen them so we spent the day watching movies and decorating for Christmas.

After that we decided to hit up Benihana for dinner.

Thanksgiving steez

Just a half a day of work standing between me and quality time with the fam! I can't wait to get to my [other] mom's house and get my grub on. We always eat so good down there.. anyway I'm getting ahead of myself!

The wifey came down today...

She cooked up something delicious and then we watch UP, again. I've been packing [procrastinating rather] for the last 3hrs now...I need to finish.

Peace until at least..umm..Sunday. Expect some good pics...

Sometimes in life you have to take a timeout.  Just sit back, let all your cares go and just enjoy life.  So tonight we used one of our timeouts and hit up Maru. Best sushi in town!

The wifey got back in town from her basketball reunion in Houston so I decided to take her out.  We hit happy hour at Ka-Prow, this Sushi bar about 5 minutes from our apt.  It was off pretty good and a nice way to end the weekend.
