The concert was off the RIP!!!!!! First of all, N.E.R.D got the crowd right with their set. Pharrell was nuts on the stage, jumping around everywhere with craaazy energy! They set if off right...then...HOV KILLED IT! For real...like FOR REAL!! I was on my feet his entire set, matchin' him verse for verse, bar for bar, word for word! Oh yeah, my camera died!

Stomp the Yard is a favorite movie of mine...not top 10...or 25 even [if I could even name that many!] but I could definitely watch it everyday. I just found out the they are doing a sequel! Now there are dozens of examples I can provide to prove that sequels don't always equal a good thing, but I'm kinda excited about this one.

I figured since I haven't been here in a while I should try and at least put something together lol. Been kinda busy not to much though. I've just been really lazy as far as blogging, hell I haven't even posted a blog for my job in over a month. I've been working [or "grindin, like the youngsters say, lol] my ass off! So much in fact that I haven't been sleeping for more than 5 hours a night...and now I'm sick. FUUUUCK! Ask anyone that knowsme and they will tell you that I am a horrible person to be around when I'm sick. Straight up asshole..no other way of putting it lol. My Uncle passed away last Tuesday and I haven't done much of anything since then. Drove to Alabama this weekend so I could attend the funeral and I just got back Tuesday...ready for the weekend already.

I've been getting my haircut at the same barbershop since I've been able to get a haircut. Since I've moved to Austin I tried different barbers but none of 'em can touch Taylors! So now that I go see the wifey in Waco every weekend, I can continue to get my haircut...RIGHT! 1/2 of the tandem that is the Taylor's Barbershop, Ant, doing work!!!

Mediocrity

With all the hype surrounding this song, and the fact that it's the lead single off of the Soundtrack to Lebron's movie, a video was bound to happen; a Hype Williams video at that! So knowing Hype's track record, I expected a ground breaking video but what was delivered...not so much. I'm not going to post the video but I'll post the link. After watching it though I can only describe it as being mediocre...I've spoken my piece!

Biiiiiig weekend! Got a lot of pics from my nephews football game and but that's about it as far as pics. The wifey and I kinda got out of hand [again] in the spending department but it feels DAMN GOOD to walk in and throw it in the bag and not have to worry about it!! I do if for her because she deserves!! On a side note, I'm jamming the Blueprint 3 & Man on the Moon like it's they're the only albums I got!! I'll probably be on it til Wale drops.

Been way too busy celebrating all week to really worry about anything else. Even as I type I'm heading back to Austin so I can hit Downtown tonight; an appropriate way to end "semaña de carlitos" lol. I'm blogging from my blackberry to test the convenience of it. That way I can blog on the go or whenever I feel "inspired" to. Aesthetically it's essentially the same, a little harder to type but I can get past it.
